Paul Lamb lives near Kansas City, but he escapes to his Ozark cabin whenever he gets the chance. His short stories have appeared in dozens of literary magazines; one was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. One-Match Fire is his first novel. He earned an M.A. in English from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and he rarely strays far from his laptop.
